P/T SENIOR TRANSPORTATION VAN DRIVER – NORWOOD/NORTHVALE SHARED SERVICE.
Under general supervision, operates a municipal van to provide transportation services for
senior residents participating in the shared service program between the Boroughs of
Norwood and Northvale, including transport to medical appointments, essential services,
and shopping destinations within program guidelines; assists passengers with boarding and
exiting the vehicle as needed, maintains a courteous and professional demeanor, follows
daily schedules coordinated through the Norwood Borough Administrator’s Office, ensures
safe operation of the vehicle in compliance with all traffic laws, and performs light vehicle
upkeep and related duties as assigned. Candidates must be customer service oriented,
dependable, and able to assist elderly passengers with mobility needs. Applicant must be a
New Jersey resident. A valid NJ CDL license with a passenger endorsement in good standing
and a clean driving record is required; experience operating passenger vans preferred.
